I may be only in my 20s, but I’ve spent about 90% of my life time using Apple products.  I started as a baby banging on the keys of an Apple IIe and then grew up on Macs.  From the Apple IIe, I went to a SE 30, then a LC II, then a Performa 6230CD, but then I went to the dark side.  I could only afford a PC, but built it myself and troubleshot everything that went wrong with it (including reinstalling EVERY version of Windows from 95 on at least 20 times).  Not only did this start my knowledge of computer hardware, but I got to know Windows really well and that helps me out today when I need to troubleshoot the lonely PC every now and then.

Luckily, I received an iBook as a gift and got back to my senses.  I was able to use OS 9 and got back to Macs so I can figure out what changed since OS 7.6.  I also used OS X for the first time when the Public Beta came out.  Once 10.1 came out I never went back to OS 9 and thank goodness.  I know more about OS X now then I ever thought because I forced myself into using it and figuring out all its issues.  From the iBook I’ve moved to a PowerBook and PowerMac and then now to a MacBook, iPod, iPhone, and AppleTV.  I love my Apple products!!!!

As for work, I worked for a couple Apple Specialists in San Diego, but now I am a Macintosh Consultant for HappyMacs.....I hope I never have to support PCs as a job to pay my rent.
